As Americana as it gets, these colorful signs are made of authentic, vintage license plates gathered from junk yards across the southwest. The plates are sliced, nailed to recycled plywood and a recycled soda tab serves as the hanger in back. Each one is unique, featuring individual slices from different states, in different colors and in varying conditions from lightly worn to seriously recycled.
Sometimes the artist uses numbers as letters (i.e. an upside down 7 for an L) and as each slice is individual the size of the total signs vary slightly. We cannot predict what colors or states will be included in yours, and it will definitely not be exactly the same as the ones pictured since no two are alike, but each is crafted with attention to detail and will be your own original work of art.
