As Americana as it gets, these colorful signs are made of authentic, vintage license plates gathered from junk yards across the southwest. The plates are sliced, nailed to recycled plywood and a recycled soda tab serves as the hanger in back. Each one is unique, featuring individual slices from different states, in different colors and in varying conditions from lightly worn to seriously recycled.
Sometimes the artist uses numbers as letters (i.e. an upside down 7 for an L) and as each slice is individual the size of the total signs vary slightly. We cannot predict what colors or states will be included in yours, and it will definitely not be exactly the same as the ones pictured since no two are alike, but each is crafted with attention to detail and will be your own original work of art.View full product details

Poor Duncan just wants to color. But when he opens his box of crayons, he finds only letters, all saying the same thing: His crayons have had enough! They quit! Beige Crayon is tired of playing second fiddle to Brown Crayon. Black wants to be used for more than just outlining. Blue needs a break from coloring all those bodies of water. And Orange and Yellow are no longer speaking—each believes he is the true color of the sun.
What can Duncan possibly do to appease all of the crayons and get them back to doing what they do best?
